Mountain Bike VR Experience

Developed in Unity for use in medical centers during physical evaluations, this application is designed to provide an immersive, intuitive, and realistic virtual reality experience. Compatible with Oculus Quest 2 and 3.

• 🌄 Multiple environments: A variety of visual scenarios that change dynamically as the test progresses and intensity increases.

• 📈 Incline simulation: Terrain gradually inclines to reflect increased physical effort required in each stage.

• 🚴‍♂️ NPC cyclists: Virtual cycling companions add realism and a sense of group pacing/competition.

• 🕒 Three distinct phases:

  • Effort Phase: Uphill segments that require sustained pedaling.

  • Recovery Phase: Lower intensity flat terrain for active rest.

  • Final Descent Phase: A downhill segment to gently finish the session.

• 💥 Special visual effects: Immersive feedback depending on exercise stage (speed, energy, environment).

• 🛠️ Advanced optimization: Efficient use of assets and textures to ensure smooth performance on Oculus Quest 2 and 3 with no quality loss.
